READING:We have started our Nursery Rhyme Unit! The kids have enjoyed sing rhymes such as, The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Humpty Dumpty!! The kids have also enjoyed finding objects in their surroundings and brainstorming words that rhyme. Which could be a fun family game to play!! J  We  will continue  working on reading the kindergarten words.  We should know:  I, a, go, to, me, in, red, see, we, my,can ,it.  For fun at home, go to www.spellingcity.com .  Click on the button that says “Find A List.”  In the middle of the computer screen, type in the name Cynthia Eggers to search for a list by a teacher’s name.  Have fun playing the games!

LETTER OF THE WEEK: “M” will be the letter of the week starting on Monday, December 6.  Please sit down with your child and discuss what sound this letter makes.  Have your child cut out one small picture from a magazine or newspaper that begins with the letter “M.”
